The location of the Church is right in front the famous Magellan's Cross where they say is the exact location where the Spaniards gave the miraculous image of the Santo Nino to the Filipinos way back.
Tourists, Roman Catholics or not, visits the place to see and experience how amazing the relic sculptures, paintings and even the original Sto. Nino de Cebu image is preserved so well until now.
Seeing a lot of devotees praying, may it be through kneeling down, standing up, crying, laughing or even dancing while waving their candles in front of the miraculous image (Sinulog) as if they look like crazy people, praying to someone they never even had a REAL glimpse on.
I believe you don't see this kind of faith anywhere, and it can't be learned overnight either. This is a grace that God intentionally gave to the Filipinos.
I may not live in a first world country but never would I trade this great faith in God I'm seeing from my fellow Filipinos for anything earthly.
